we did it!

after spending countless late nights calculating airline points - followed by countless mornings wondering if we would ever be brave enough... we finally did it.  we bought our one way ticket - to go on an adventure across the world.  and we're going crazy.

colins already planning the different towns we are going to conquer - and i am counting down the minutes that we have till we can no longer get a refund on this ticket.  are we actually doing this??  i keep looking at his smiling face thinking, holy shit, we're really doing this.

im so excited i can hardly stand it, i cant wait to travel the world with my amazing husband.

we're (or more like - "I" am) going to write a few entries over the next few months about soaking up all there is to soak up in SF - and then we'll get to write down all of our ridiculous memories to come on our adventure.  i can already see the hilarious situations we will get ourselves into, the amazing people we'll meet, and the cultures we will both sink our teeth into... and between colins excitement for off the beaten path, steal of a deal hostels - and my love for a parisian, clawfoot bathtubs... we're sure to have some amazeballs stories.
